Dr. Ruiter is a board certified, fellowship trained Hand & Wrist surgeon trained in the treatment of disorders of the hand and upper extremity. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and holds a Subspecialty Certificate (CAQ) in Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Ruiter’s scope of expertise includes the treatment of children and adults with:

Dr. Ruiter is highly skilled in hand and wrist surgery, arthroscopy; microsurgery, and well versed on nonoperative as well as minimally invasive surgery techniques. Dr. Ruiter is a resident of Plantation, and has two small school-aged children. He is a Retired Army veteran having served with the 82nd Airborne Division one year in the Middle East. Dr. Ruiter and his family have recently relocated from Michigan to join AssociatesMD Hand & Wrist Specialists.
