Matthew Teltser, MD
Matthew Teltser MD has been practicing as a board certified cardiologist in South Broward for over 20 years and has built a large following. His expertise includes diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases, lipidology, nuclear cardiology and preventive cardiology. His success with patients stems from his philosophy that patients need to be active partners in their treatment. An open dialogue allows his patients to make informed decisions with a clearly defined joint plan.
A native of New Jersey, he graduated with honors from Rutgers College of Rutgers University and through a senior research project at Rutgers Medical School earned the title of Rutgers Scholar. Upon completion of his MD degree, which was attained at UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School, he moved to Pennsylvania and became board certified in Internal Medicine after training at Medical College of Pennsylvania. During his fourth year at MCP, Dr. Teltser was an Instructor of Internal Medicine while completing a Fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology. He continued his journey southward and completed his training in cardiology at the University of Florida Health Science Center Jacksonville.
Owen Peller, MD
Dr. Owen Peller has been practicing in Broward County as a Board Certified Cardiologist for over 20 years. He has an extensive and impressive resume which includes Ivy League Medical Training as well as graduating first in his class in Medical School. He was trained in Internal Medicine at the prestigious Harvard Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at the renowned New York Hospital and Cornell University Medical Center.
Dr. Peller is unique as he is also a Nuclear Cardiologist, supervising and interpreting his own Nuclear Studies. He was trained at the US Naval Academy Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. As an industry leader Dr. Peller was one of the first to introduce modern Nuclear Cardiology practices to South Florida. Dr. Peller is on staff at Westside Regional Hospital for your convenience. Dr. Peller is an avid wildlife Photographer and is constantly traveling to capture amazing pictures which you can see displayed throughout our office.
Tiffany Sizemore-Ruiz, D.O.
Dr. Tiffany graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from Florida Atlantic University at 19 years old. She then went on to become the youngest graduate from the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. T is a cardiologist board-certified in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Her true passion lies in helping people to achieve their health goals in a preventative nature. Dr. T enjoys educating the public about health, nutrition and disease prevention. She has been quoted in published books on nutrition and weight loss, as well as quoted onHuffingtonPost.com, Shape.com, Yahoo News and spoken publicly about women’s health for various events.
Dr. Tiffany believes in giving back to her community. She has been involved with the local American Heart association since 2012 and she currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the American Heart and American Stroke Association of Fort Lauderdale and Miami. She was honored with being selected as one of Gold Coast’s magazines Top 40 People Under 40 for 2013. Dr. T is known for giving a little tough love, but she cares immensely for her patients. She truly treats every patient as if they were a family member, and will always give advice based upon that ideal. She enjoys making everyone around her smile, just as she is always smiling.
