We offer two highly accurate and same day testing options to fit your needs.

  • Molecular PCR - Approved for Travel - $200
  • Molecular LAMP - For patients w/o exposure or experiencing symptoms - $125

Is AssociatesMD Testing Patients for Coronavirus/COVID-19?
Yes, AssociatesMD has a Drive-Thru Nasal Swab Testing Site. Testing now available for all patients regardless of symptoms at AssociatesMD Testing Center.  Please contact our offices at 1-844-954-DOCS (3627) and we will coordinate we will schedule you for same day visit to screen for the Coronavirus.

Is it safe for me to visit AssociatesMD?
If you are older than 65 years old, or have certain conditions (diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, pregnancy) you are at high risk for severe illness if you get the Coronavirus, you should STAY HOME and avoid public places for that reason we are offering you a Telemedicine visit with your doctor.

Associates MD has taken steps to keep our staff and our patients safe. We are screening our patients when making appointments in order to avoid patients in the office with symptoms identified by the CDC. We are also screening patients for respiratory symptoms at the check-in time of their appointment and we are following CDC and Florida Department of Health algorithms for infection control, including requiring patients to cover any active coughs and wear a mask if they have cough.

If I don’t want to come to the office and need to see my healthcare provider what should I do?
We have set up Telemedicine Consults and are currently treating our patients via Telemedicine. Please call our offices at 1-844-954-DOCS (3627) and we will coordinate your telemedicine appointment.

What if I don’t have a computer, can I ask have a telemedicine appointment?
Yes. There are different ways in which you can have a Telemedicine appointment. When you call our offices our customer service team will guide you and help you set up your appointment based on your situation.

What are the differences between the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and the flu?
The Coronavirus and flu have very similar symptoms, If you are having fever, cough or difficulty breathing and is not an emergency call us at 1 (844) 954 3627

What is Coronavirus/COVID-19?
Coronavirus is a type of virus that causes illnesses of varying severity, especially in those 60+ and those with certain chronic medical conditions. A new coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, has sustained transmission and recognized risks globally. The areas concerning for community transmission in the United States are rapidly increasing. Now is the time to prepare, avoiding crowds to reduce your risk of exposure. Make sure you have an adequate supply of all of your medications, food and household items, should you have to remain at home for extended periods of time. You should practice Social Distancing until further notice.

What are common symptoms?

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Severe Illness

How does it spread?
Similar to how influenza and other respiratory illnesses are spread, coronavirus may be spread from an infected person to others by:

  • Coughing and sneezing
  • Touching a surface with the virus on it
  • Close personal contact, such as touching or shaking hands

What steps can I take for protection and prevention of spread?
Use the same protective measures that prevent flu and other common viruses, such as:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Cover your cough and sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
  • Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces
  • Stay home from school, work or travel if/when you are not feeling well, call your doctor for guidance.
