Ron DeSantis on Wednesday (4.29.20) announced his plan to begin reopening the state and begin a slow climb from the economic abyss caused by the coronavirus. Getting tested is the cornerstone to getting us back to life before COVID-19.

According to Gov. DeSantis, “Testing provides the critical help for business to reopen and allows the state to gauge if the infection rate in our community remains low or whether we need to readjust our plans because of a rebound in the virus’ presence.”

How Can I Get Tested?

Here’s an AssociatesMD primer on steps to take to get tested at the designated AssociatesMD testing site in Cyprus Creek.

• You will need a prescription for the drive-thru test.
• We will set up an appointment for you for a telemedicine visit.
• You will be given an appointment time for nasal swab testing, Monday-Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for your drive-thru testing site, Cyprus Creek, 2122 NW 62nd St., Fort Lauderdale 33309.
• Test results should be available within 48-72 hours.
