Rodolfo Herrera, MD

Primary care physician Rodolfo Herrera, MD, is proud to serve the community of Plantation, Florida, as part of the team at AssociatesMD. 

Originally from Cuba, Dr. Herrera began his medical studies at the University of Santiago de Cuba. After graduating from medical school, he went on to complete his Residency in Family Medicine in Holguin, Cuba. 

Dr. Herrera spent time working in Puerto Rico and Venezuela in hospitals as a family practitioner and in rural areas for those in need. Upon moving to South Florida, he began working at the Cleveland Clinic. Throughout his career, he has immersed himself in family medicine, anesthesiology, emergency care, and urgent care. He is a skilled and tested primary care physician who puts patient needs first. 

Dr. Herrera believes in high-quality medicine and making care accessible. He has created workshops and served on leadership committees that aimed to enhance patient care. He is fluent in English and Spanish and will work with patients to establish the best point of care in order for them to live a healthy lifestyle.
