Dr. Howard Ruskin is a board certified Neurologist who is a fellow in the American Academy of Neurology, and has been in private practice in Plantation for 42 years. He graduated from the University of Miami, School of Medicine and did an internship in medicine and residency in neurology at the Jackson Memorial Hospital affiliated with the University of Miami, School of Medicine. Subsequently, he was chief of neurology at the United States Public Services Hospital in San Francisco during the Vietnam War and returned to Florida in 1972 to open his private practice in Plantation. He is a faculty member in Neurology with the position of Clinical Professor of Neurology at the University of Miami. He has a general neurology practice enjoying taking care of patients with multiple neurological problems. He serviced as chief of staff at Westside Regional Medical Center and chief of medicine at Plantation General Hospital.
He enjoys special time with his seven grand-children and likes to fish with his son. He also expresses his artistic ability by oil painting.
